Wednesday August 18th

Fargo, North Dakota - Minnesota - Ironwood, Wisconsin

Last night Mike (Mr. Social) chatted up a Victory rider and took some pics of his ride. This guy, Bill from Vero Beach, Florida put on 85,000 miles in 5 years - of course he is now single.

We left Fargo in the rain this morning.  We knew that the good weather wouldn't last forever. Mike stopped to buy a new pair of waterproof boots in Walker Minnesota. All in all though, the rest of the day was not too bad, mostly overcast, some light showers. The sun even poked through the clouds now and then.
We had arrived in Fargo on Interstate 94, however we left on highway 10, and made our way across to Interstate 2 by way of highways 10, 34, 200 almost a straight line.

Minnesota is very much like Ontario, same trees and vegetation, even the road signs are the same colour.  We could have been riding near home and scenery would be pretty much the same.

We hope to cross back over into Canada tomorrow at Sault Ste. Marie and then get to Espanola, Ontario for the night.  Our trip is winding down.  It will be nice to get home.
