We forgot to mention, that on our ride yesterday we saw our first wildlife, a small black bear. We had expected to see moose, deer etc.. We hadn't seen any wildlife, except for roadkill.
Today we said good bye to Don and Janet.
Lessoned learned today: Don't leave Kelowna! We left Don and Janet's (Hotel Flamingo :-) ) after another poolside breakfast and headed towards Vancouver. The ride started OK; Mike riding in a T-shirt. Later he put on his leathers and finally we put on our rain gear. We had a miserable 200+km ride in the rain, to Hope BC. We sought shelter there and tried to dry up. We then rode to Abbotsford BC in light showers and checked in at a Best Western.
